We all have different reasons for becoming DAD’s but for Barry Tye becoming a DAD is a living nightmare, something he could have never imagined in his wildest dreams.
Barry’s wife Courtney passed away on February 1, 2014, while giving birth to their baby boy Carter.
With each one of our 189 kids, when WIFE has gone into labor, I say a silent prayer for the health and safety of both the baby and her. Being a stay at home dad is one thing, but going it completely alone, I can’t even imagine the pain and grief and loss Barry must be going through.
Courtney was only 30 years old, what was supposed to be one of them most joyous occasions of their life has turned so unbelievably tragic.
March would have marked the two year anniversary for Barry and Courtney, the couple met while at work and fell in love.
Barry is now alone with a new son and in need of help, financial, moral and even positive thoughts. He is a full time dad, a new dad and a widow.
The Carter Wayne Tye Expense and Education Fund has been set up to help with the many expense Barry and Carter will face is the years to come.
DAD is not a super religious dude in the world, but before my head hits the pillow tonight, I will be saying a prayer for Barry, for Carter and for Courtney. Please keep them all in your thoughts.
The goal of the fund is $25,000, they are currently at a little over $19,000. Let’s help them reach and surpass that number and welcome Barry to our community. You have a lot of people you will never know here to help you.
Wow I know exactly how this man feels. I won’t get into my story here, but him and his family are most certainly in our prayers. I wish there was more that I could do. It really breaks my heart seeing things like this. No one should have to feel that kind of pain.
Please have him reach out to the Liz Logelin Foundation. http://thelizlogelinfoundation.org/ – this foundation was founded by Matt in honor of his wife Liz, who he lost in childbirth as well. hey provide support to grief- stricken young families in the way monetary grants to meet families’ emotional and financial short-term needs.
I can’t imagine -I will keep him in my prayers. I know it isn’t much but my heart goes out to him and the baby.
Thank you for sharing this!
