If you know anything about DAD, it’s that I am always on the hunt for a play date for my kids, it seems to be my Achilles heal, getting a mommy to understand that I do not want to have sex with them, just for our kids to play. Someday, maybe.
In my search for information DAD came across the blog Bad Playdate, a hysterical blog written by a mom who has plenty of play dates, but many of them are not as good as she thought they would be, hence the name Bad Playdate.
“When I was single, I went on bad dates. Now I go on hundreds of bad playdates & boy, are they weird. “
It’s funny, informative, interesting and well written, Bad Playdate is a blog that I actually read and don’t just hit “Like.” Oh, come on you do it to!
One of the many reasons DAD digs BPD is though it’s written by a mom, it’s not a “mommy” blog filled with false sentiment and unending complaints about her sagging boobs and awful husband (like 82% of them). Bad Playdate understands that parenting can be fun, hard, exciting, insane, adventurous and yes, sometimes very lonely, she conveys it in a manner that is relatable to men and women.
When something goes wrong, she isn’t afraid to throw a punch or two. Bad Playdate had a very bad play date with another blogger named Wealthy Single Mom(don’t get me started on the name) and things went South quickly, their battle is still raging on and it ain’t pretty. It it were live, it would be a pay per-view event complete with cage, mud and a lot of blood.
Besides a blog, a Facebook page and Twtter, Bad Playdate has started a news letter that goes out to her fans, full of tips, stories, information and stories from other bloggers. It’s a creative way for people who like the blog to catch up who don’t have the time to read every post, click here to check out the latest installment. It also has new content that can’t be found on any of her other sites.
Tips, rants, ideas, stories. Bad Playdate is a fun to read, a resource on how to behave on a play date before you head out to the park, gym, restaurant or house.
Bad Playdate will keep you informed, entertained and on the straight and narrow.
