Not that it’s a contest but if it was DAD wins! Well actually WIFE, but I’m the one writing this so I get ½ credit
This is a quick and easy Valentines treat or really any time treat that you can share with your kids class, play group, birthday or any old time you want to show your parenting superiority!
You need the following-
Gum- Let’s say sugar free to keep everyone off my back
Smarties- So much for the sugar free
Life Savers or any kind of circle candy.
Little rubber bands– You can get them at Michaels or if you’re a real man ask your wife to go to Michaels, cuz’ no man should “have to go “ to Michaels.
Step 1- Eat a mint. You’re going to do it anyway so get it out of the way
Step 2-Place the gum on a table.
Step 3– Eat gum, then place the Smarties on top of the gum
Step 4– Place a Life Saver on each side of the Smarties
Step 5– Feed that small as$ rubber band through the Life Saver, over the Smartie and then loop each side over the gum.
Step 6– Repeat a million times and you are done.
That’s it! You have a cool looking candy airplane that you can hand out to the class, neighbors, friends. The wings will bend a little bit, because the rubber bands are tight, but it’s no biggie, it make it look cool.
If you’re a really good parent you can add little stickers to the top of the wings, like hearts, or shamrocks or whatever you think up. I however am not all that good of a parent, so the kids in the five year old’s class will have to “deal.”
Step 7- Eat the Smarties already, you know you have been dying to and you deserve it.
