I’ll admit, when somebody comments on something I have as “cool” I enjoy it: my bike, my old Evil Knievel t-shirt, shoes, my opportunities to get props are few and far between, so I enjoy them when I get them.
Now that I am a DAD, I enjoy finding those unique, yet affordable things for my kids to wear, which can be hard, since a good chunk of America has become Targeted and Wal-Marted, we for the most part shop from the same fashion pool.
The inter-web has become the place I look to find unique ideas for my family that stand out and may even have a bit of a meaning behind them.
Designer Daddy is a place I found that fits the bill for cool products and a good story. Designer Daddy is a DAD, who also is a graphic designer. A while ago, he wrote a country song for fun called “My Two Daddies can Beat up Your One,” (yes, he’s gay).
From that song a t-shirt was born, from that shirt more shirts were born and now as we are headed smack dab into Halloween, Designer Daddies t-shirts are the coolest and most unique shirts I have seen for kids and adults this season.
Here’s the deal. I am buying a few of these for my kids, because they are as I stated earlier, cool and different. I am calling (yes, like calling something on the playground) I am calling that if you live within a five mile radius of my house, you can’t buy these shirts, because I found them first! If your kid and my kid end up at the same Halloween party, wearing the same shirt, we are going to throw down!
For everyone else, if you are looking for something creative and different that also happens to support a pretty awesome DAD, then check out Designer Daddy and his line. Straight, gay, man, woman, child, Designer Daddy has it going on and on and on.
Any DAD that is doing something cool, creative and positive I am in favor of 100%, these shirts are so different it will make the mom’s in the park have to ask me where I got them…Score one for the DAD. Actually it’s more like the nannies in the park, but I digress.
