Yes, there are lessons you can learn from Kanye and they are great examples to share with your kids.
Being the DAD to roughly 189 kids, I get asked a lot of questions: last week “the boy” asked me what “ironic” meant? Thanks to Alanis Morissette I was able to struggle my way through it.
Kanye being a “baby daddy” himself will someday have the nanny bring North West to his side of the house and she may ask him “daddy, what is a bad sport.” Without saying a word, Kanye will be able to pull out his computer, throw his Beats over her little head and show
her not one, but two examples of “daddy” making a complete ass of himself on TV.
“See baby gurl, this is what it look like to be a bad sport, daddy has mastered the art of making sure he spoils other peoples life time achievements with his own spoiled agenda. Isn’t it cool?”
Thank you Kanye, because of you I am now also able to show my kids what a hypocrite is, that’s another tough one. One minute you are on stage singing? (or whatever that was you were doing) about how much you love your daughter and what it means to be a dad. The next you are being the worst possible example to her a parent can be. Short of killing someone, but the day is still young.
Finally, the old adage if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say it at all. Kanye is a shining example of being a loud mouthed bully who “feels” it’s important to say everything he feel, though nobody really cares. As the old saying goes, “opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has them” and Kanye is one big a$$hole.
So true. One time you can maybe understand. But now a second time? Shut up already. No one cares about your opinion.
Carl you should be the celebrity ‘dad” coach. You are a great example to your kids and other parents.
