Hi. Welcome to the new world.

While there’s a lot we can’t control, one of the kind of nice things that has sprouted up from this insane situation, is the family walk.
Look out your window, and chances are you are going to see families, couples, people walking with their kids, pets or just to get outside of the house. It’s a nice result of a horrible situation.
One of the things we started to do while we were walking 100000 times a day, is to Walk With Chalk.

We take sidewalk chalk with us and randomly draw pictures, notes, math problems and anything else that’s positive and creative we can think up.
It does a few things
- Gives people something to look at as they go for their stroll.
- Gives kids a creative outlet
- Gets everyone outside
- Spreads a little positivity (though one woman yelled at us….because there’s always one)
- Extends the walk, while they’re having fun, which makes it seem like you are being an awesome parent, when in fact we are all just trying to find ways to fill the many hours of the day.
That’s really it. You can do it any time, as many times as you want and the only rule is “be nice!”
The next time you’re out, take a little walk with chalk and see what you can create.
