“Back to normal” has phrase ever been so used so much in such a little amount of time?
When are we going to be back to normal? How long will it take to be back to normal? And on and on and on.
The truth is “normal” from here on out will take on a very new and different definition. That being said, there are things that can help us remember our old “normal” and build on our future happy as we continue figure things out.
One of those “happy memories” for me and my family is the return of Monster Jam to Chicago.
Yes, I know it may seem silly, but who doesn’t need a little “silly” right about now. Monster Jam has been a family tradition with my family, for over a decade, which includes the one Halloween the team from Monster Jam set up a life sized Grave Digger in our front yard!
It’s loud, exciting, fun and easy to enjoy. Something we can all appreciate.
Following a pandemic-pause, Monster Jam will be making a pit-stop at the Allstate Arena for a weekend full of family-friendly, adrenaline-charged fun from Sept. 17 – Sept. 19, 2021.
Once again, Rosemont fans will witness a fierce battle for the event championship with each skilled Monster Jam athlete tearing up the dirt with gravity-defying feats in 12,000-pound Monster Jam trucks going head-to-head for points in Freestyle, the Skills Challenge and Racing competitions. Plus, fans can become part of the action by voting for the winner in the Skills Challenge and Freestyle competitions via real-time, in-arena fan voting on their smartphones.
The all-star truck lineup will feature multiple fan favorites including Krysten Anderson in the legendary Grave Digger®, the GUINNESS WORLD RECORD™ holder for the highest monster truck ramp jump. The newest driver of the Great Clips Mohawk Warrior® team, Elvis Lainez, has started out strong in 2021 and will look to continue his success into Rosemont.
It’s a little bit of normal and a great time all wrapped up in 12,000 pound Monster Trucks flying through the air.
