Well my parenting, blogger world and that has two count for something?
New Year’s is over and for many of you, it means time at home, with the family, doing stuff and then more stuff and then cleaning up that stuff and then wondering how much more stuff you have to do before they go to bed.
If you are looking for a great distraction, let DAD introduce the most interesting people in the world to you. These are men and women who write, podcast and publish things for parents that I personally admire and enjoy.
They are smart, thoughtful and pushing the envelope in parenting infotainment with their talents.
I am going to list them here with hyperlinks and then go into more description below. I have no idea how to hyperlink a photo gallery, though we have been taught and my boss will Say “DAD, we showed you how to do this in that e-mail we sent out!” My answer is always, “what e-mail, I only care about information that has to do with me!” Hey at least I’m honest about it.
I have left out the GIANTS, because we all know who they are. These are the newer kids on the block or people I have had the pleasure of meeting and truly amaze me. If you are looking for something to do before you have to build the next toy, check them out.
Anyway, in no particular order: DADsaster podcast, TweenUs-Shanna Younger blog, Dad On The Run-Eric Boyette blog, Every Little Thing Birth and Beyond-Jim Mckenzie online magazine, Playdate Planet– Meryl Neiman podcast, The Life of DAD After Show podcast, My Thoughts and Ramblings- Lisa Martin blog, The Rock Father– James Zahn blog.
Click on those for a ton of great stuff. Check out why they are great below.

DADsaster- Mark and Bryan host an hour long weekly podcast that combines humor, information and expert guests that keep you informed and entertained. These guys are show biz folk in LA and sometimes their perspective on the rest of the world is a little LA LA, but they great DAD’s and have a podcast worth listening to

If I was in high school with Shanna Younger I would try and sit next to her so I can cheat off of her. She is a mom, but not a “mommy blogger. Tween Us is the ultimate resource for parents with Tweens or young teens. Unlike DAD, she does her research, hardly ever swears and writes in a thoughtful, informational way that makes me actually read her posts and not just hit LIKE.

Lisa is DAD’s adopted mom blogger. She is the most dialed on blogger I have ever met. Instagram, Twitter, Pintrest, Facebook, Lisa is there with information and giveaways galore. The brands love Lisa and Lisa shares the love. Click on her page and there is always something good going on. DAD wants to be as organized and hooked up as Lisa someday.

It takes a lot to scare DAD, and Meryl did the trick. She is an attorney, a mom, a business woman and when she asked me to be on the show, I was terrified. Luckily she is also very welcoming, knows how to keep a conversation going and does her homework. Her show is an hour long and it flies by, mostly due to her talent as a host. Besides DAD, her guests are smart, have great advice and make the show one to add to your to do list.

Every Little Thing Birth and Beyond 360 may be a long title, but it’s worth checking out. Dude publishes an online magazine for parents that is a great resource: from fashion to news, health tips and yoga. A lot of people blab about doing something great, Jim did and deserves the “love”

My Boy. Dude makes me look tame. He is a giant hearted guy who writes what he feels. Sometime it’s nice, sometimes not so nice, all the time it’s fun. He is a champion of dads and common decency.

DAD calls The Rock Father ‘the mack daddy” of daddy bloggers. The man has dedicated 5 years to the craft of being a blogger and his site shows. His specialty is music and he knows his stuff, for parents, kids, you name it. TRF also has great giveaways, toy reviews and a lot more.

DAD was recently on the Life of DAD After Show with Art and Ryan, it was a blast. These guys are the kings of the DAD podcast world. They pump out quality content in a half a dozen different ways and it doesn’t suck! They are smart, know what’s going on and cracked me up from beginning to end. They also care, which shows in the quality of their podcast.
